Description | This two-days doctoral workshop sheds light on research on COVID-19 from various perspectives: policy compliance, international comparison, crisis management, social inequalities, and theoretical questions raised by disruptive events. The programme will also thematize the challenges of conducting research in times of pandemic. The workshop includes presentations of ongoing research on COVID-19 from Swiss and international scholars. The presented researches draw on political science, sociology, and anthropology. Participants from all disciplines are welcome. The interactive sessions that complement each theoretical input tackle questions of theory, methodology and research design. Although the overarching topic of the workshop is COVID-19, the interactive sessions focus on transversal questions that are of interest for participants working on any topic. |
