Description |
This course combines the basic concepts of qualitative data analysis (QDA) with the essential features of NVivo for analysing qualitative data. This is the course you need if you are new to qualitative analysis and want to use NVivo from a methodological perspective that goes beyond learning a software from purely a technical angle. The course is structured around four modules that follow the logical sequence of the qualitative analysis process. You will learn to organise a qualitative dataset in NVivo; manage your literature review in NVivo; distinguish between inductive and deductive approaches for coding qualitative data; seek patterns and identify relationships in the data; generate and falsify hypotheses; create second-level constructs; present findings using visualisations and create a solid audit trail to ascertain the trustworthiness of your study. Please note that this course teaches only the most salient features of NVivo. For a more comprehensive course, see the Introduction to NVivo: www.mariehelenepare.com/courses/nvivo-courses/introduction-to-nvivo/
