The course aims to enable each participant to:
• Get a clear view on QCA as a research approach, within the domain of Set-Theoretic Methods (STMs)/Configurational Comparative methods (CCMs)
• Reflect on the potential usefulness of QCA for (parts of) his/her research project, through the different possible exploitations of QCA and its insertion in different types of research designs (including mixed- or multimethod designs)
• Conduct QCA analyses on replicated data: crisp-set (csQCA) and fuzzy set (fsQCA), from A to Z, using in particular the R and FS/QCA software packages
• After the course: be equipped, if applicable, to conduct exploratory QCA analyses on his/her own data
