Project Writing: Tips and Tricks - The Case of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships

The masterclass aims to provide participants with:

- knowledge of the basic structure and the main functioning of international funding programmes, with the focus being on Horizon Europe, the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme (2021-2027);

- understanding of the application process and skills in writing research projects, with the focus being on the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships which will be taken as a test bench for an exercise on an open call on how to write a competitive proposal;

- an improved ability to make clear and informed assessments on how to tailor and contextualise one's aims and research question in light of the standard evaluation criteria (Excellence, Impact, Implementation) which will be thoroughly presented and discussed;

- understanding of some fundamental tenets of European project writing: GDPR and Privacy; European Open Science; Ethics and Research Integrity; Science Communication.
