Information détaillée concernant le cours
Titre | Social Network Analysis |
Dates | October-November (5 weeks) |
Organisateur(s)/trice(s) | Eva Fernandez (UNIGE) Ophelia Nicole-Berva (coordination) |
Intervenant-e-s | Filip Agneessens |
Description | This workshop focuses on different statistical inference for social network analysis, using exponential random graph models (ERGM) and stochastic actor oriented models (SAOM) using RSiena. Statistical network analysis can be used to explain the formation of ties between nodes by focusing on both structure and nodal attributes. Analysing longitudinal data with SAOM/RSiena (Snijders, van de Bunt, Steglich, 2013), we are able to understand the process of network emergence and its consequences. In addition, students will have the possibility to discuss their sna PhD projects with professor Agneessens and discuss these in class.
The workshop will be held online during 5 weeks (3h/week). Please contact the coordinator ([email protected]) to fill the doodle for the dates. |
